Animal input characteristics

2011
Animal characteristics are needed for calculation of nutrient requirements and IC for both cows and growing cattle. Information on animal parameters, such as BW, is also needed when calculating ruminal variables, such as passage rates of feed fractions out of the rumen and efficiency of microbial protein synthesis.

Input characteristics of the capacitor-input rectifier filter

International Journal of Electronics, 1986
An extension of the fundamental theory of the capacitor-filter rectifier is presented. Expressions are obtained for the calculation of input power factor. Single-phase and three-phase circuits are considered. The input power factor is shown to be leading.

Input impedance characteristics of tapered slot antennas

IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium. 2001 Digest. Held in conjunction with: USNC/URSI National Radio Science Meeting (Cat. No.01CH37229), 2002
Tapered slot antennas (TSA) are attractive because of their simplicity and broadband features. Although TSA have been used for several years in industry, their analysis has been restricted to metallic TSA whereas in most cases a dielectric substrate is employed.

Input/output characteristics of scalable parallel applications

Proceedings of the 1995 ACM/IEEE conference on Supercomputing (CDROM) - Supercomputing '95, 1995
Rapid increases in computing and communication performance are exacerbating the long-standing problem of performance-limited input/output. Indeed, for many otherwise scalable parallel applications. input/output is emerging as a major performance bottleneck.

Input output representations from characteristic sets

[1991] Proceedings of the 30th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2002
The authors present an algorithm for computation of input-output descriptions. Characteristic sets can be considered as generalization of state space descriptions. Input-output descriptions can also be regarded as characteristic sets under a different ranking.

Input-output characteristics of a nonlinear Fabry-Perot system

Physical Review A, 1986
We study a Fabry-Perot system with a homogeneously broadened medium of active two-level atoms when monochromatic waves are incident on it from both sides. It is found that the ratio of output intensities at both sides depends on the relative phase between the bilateral incident waves and there are the cases when the output intensities are equal even if

Characteristics of the input data

1997
My sample includes data on international stock and bond markets as well as on global economic variables such as inflation, industrial production, interest rates, interest rate spreads, exchange rates, and commodity prices. All data series are taken from the Datastream database, which is available at the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance at the ...

Rectangular characteristic gratings for waveguide input and output coupling

Applied Optics, 1995
Normal-incidence planar-optical waveguide-imbedded phase gratings of finite aperture width and length are analyzed with Svidzinskii's (Sov. J. Quantum Electron. 10, 1103 (1980)] two-dimensional Braggdiffraction theory. Svidzinskii's characteristic-grating equations are adapted for the rectangulargrating case, and an overlap integral is used to extend ...

Characteristics of the multiple-input DC-DC converter

Proceedings of IEEE Power Electronics Specialist Conference - PESC '93, 2002
A multiple-input DC-DC converter is proposed for realizing a clean electric power generation system. The two-input buck-boost type converter is analyzed, and the static and dynamic characteristics are clarified theoretically and are confirmed by experiment. >
