Determining the characteristics of systems with multiple inputs and multiple outputs

Automatic Control and Computer Sciences, 2007
A simple and computationally efficient method of determining the transfer function and other characteristics of systems with multiple inputs and multiple outputs (MIMO systems) described by autoregression equations is proposed. The method is based on the use of the discrete Fourier transformation.

Study on Spatiotemporal Characteristics of Gaze Gesture Input

2019
The gaze gesture input has the advantages of high bandwidth, high efficiency, no misoperation and high customization, but it also has the disadvantages of high cognitive load and high fatigue degree. At present, few researches have thoroughly explored the regularity of gaze gesture input, which cause designers lack of design guidance, and it is ...

Rectangular characteristic gratings for waveguide input and output coupling

Applied Optics, 1995
Normal-incidence planar-optical waveguide-imbedded phase gratings of finite aperture width and length are analyzed with Svidzinskii's (Sov. J. Quantum Electron. 10, 1103 (1980)] two-dimensional Braggdiffraction theory. Svidzinskii's characteristic-grating equations are adapted for the rectangulargrating case, and an overlap integral is used to extend ...

Input Ripple Current Characteristics of Aviation Static Inverter

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2013
As a typical load of an aircraft power system, the aviation static inverter (ASI) brings about undesirable low-frequency ripple current on the aeronautic dc bus, which seriously deteriorates the power quality of aeronautic grid. Based on the double-Fourier switching function method, the input current of the inverter unit is analyzed.

Characteristics of the input data

1997
My sample includes data on international stock and bond markets as well as on global economic variables such as inflation, industrial production, interest rates, interest rate spreads, exchange rates, and commodity prices. All data series are taken from the Datastream database, which is available at the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance at the ...

Polarization characteristics of multiple-input multiple-output channels

2008 IEEE 19th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2008
In this paper, we investigate the polarization characteristics of the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) channels. The cross polarization discrimination (XPD) is found to change over time, while its variation in frequency domain is relatively small. The probability density function (PDF) of the XPD follows a Gaussian distribution.

Characteristics of spinoreticular and spinothalamic neurons with renal input

Journal of Neurophysiology, 1987
Spinoreticular (SRT) and spinothalamic (STT) neurons were studied for responses to renal and somatic stimuli in 34 cats that were anesthetized with alpha-chloralose. SRT cells were antidromically activated from the medial medullary reticular formation near the gigantocellular tegmental field contralateral (35 cells), ipsilateral (15 cells), or both ...

Input-output characteristics of a nonlinear Fabry-Perot system

Physical Review A, 1986
We study a Fabry-Perot system with a homogeneously broadened medium of active two-level atoms when monochromatic waves are incident on it from both sides. It is found that the ratio of output intensities at both sides depends on the relative phase between the bilateral incident waves and there are the cases when the output intensities are equal even if

Characteristic Input Harmonics of DC-DC Converters and their Effect on Input Filter Design

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics and Control Instrumentation, 1981
Design curves are presented from which the individual harmonics generated at the input to a dc-dc chopper can be determined. The effect of the chopper output ripple current on the input harmonics is included. These generalized curves can be used to determine the input filter component ratings as well as to compute the harmonics injected into the source.
