Adaptive Control with Unknown Parameters in Reference Input
Proceedings of the 2005 IEEE International Symposium on, Mediterrean Conference on Control and Automation Intelligent Control, 2005., 2005In this paper, model reference adaptive control problem is considered with reference input dependent upon the unknown parameters of the system. Due to the uncertainty in the reference input, conventional linear-in-parameters adaptive controller cannot achieve the control objective without enforcing persistent excitation (PE).

2018
This chapter provides modeling tools and concepts for the input random variables of the system to be simulated. After a discussion of dependence and correlation measures between random variables, Sect. 3.2 provides an introduction to copulas for approximating the joint distribution of several random variables given only their marginals and possibly ...

Input Parameters of the Coating Process
2015The set of input parameters includes features of carrier gas, sprayed material, and energetic features of power source. To study the input parameters, it is rational to divide the process of AS into several stages. They include electrode end face, arc burning zone, spraying distance, and coating formation.

Estimation of the input parameters in the Feller neuronal model
Physical Review E, 2006The stochastic Feller neuronal model is studied, and estimators of the model input parameters, depending on the firing regime of the process, are derived. Closed expressions for the first two moments of functionals of the first-passage time (FTP) through a constant boundary in the suprathreshold regime are derived, which are used to calculate moment ...

Input Parameters – Kinematic Properties
2019To observe the dynamic flow in dependence on the function of the bucket elevator, it is necessary to set the 3D model of the bucket elevator in motion (Fig. 8.1).

An Empirical Study on Categorizing User Input Parameters for User Inputs Reuse
2014End-users often have to enter the same information to various services (e.g., websites and mobile applications) repetitively. To save end-users from typing redundant information, it becomes more convenient for an end-user if the previous inputs of the end-user can be pre-filled to applications based on end-user’s contexts.

Determination of digital voltmeter input parameters
2007 IEEE Instrumentation & Measurement Technology Conference IMTC 2007, 2007The digital voltmeter input circuitry can contribute to measurement uncertainty, and is therefore important to characterize it. In this paper the methods for the determination of input resistance, capacitance and input bias current of the precise digital voltmeters HP 3458A are presented.

Radio-related input parameters
2008The ITU spectrum calculation methodology for the future development of IMT-2000 and IMT-Advanced includes input parameters which characterize the radio technology related issues of existing, emerging and future wireless systems. Radio related issues about IMT-Advanced for the spectrum calculation methodology are presented in Report ITU-R M.2074, where ...

Input parameters for estimating seismic loading
Natural Hazards, 1990The estimation of seismic loading requires both the featuring of the seismotectonic environment as well as a prognosis of site-specific strong ground-motion parameters. Due to the long recurrence times of larger events, there is a lack of high quality strong motion recordings at many sites.
