Input parameters authentication through dynamic software watermarking

open access: yesFrontiers in Computer Science
Modern civilization relies on computers and the Internet. Web services and microservices make many processes more accessible, often without users realizing the extent of their dependency.

Control rod drive WWER 1000 – tuning of input parameters [PDF]

open access: yesApplied and Computational Mechanics, 2007
The article picks up on the contributions presented at the conferences Computational Mechanics 2005 and 2006, in which a calculational model of an upgraded control rod linear stepping drive for the reactors WWER 1000 (LKP-M/3) was described and results ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Input parameters of three-layer steel fiber concrete beams

open access: yesMagazine of Civil Engineering
Many researchers have shown interest in the study of bending concrete beams. One method involves using multilayer concrete beams with a layer of steel fiber concrete.

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.

Simultaneous input and parameter estimation with input observers and set‐membership parameter bounding: theory and an automotive application [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, 2006
AbstractThe paper addresses an on‐line, simultaneous input and parameter estimation problem for a first‐order system affected by measurement noise. This problem is motivated by practical applications in the area of engine control. Our approach combines an input observer for the unknown input with a set‐membership algorithm to estimate the parameter ...

Neural network for generating composition and parameters of metal alloys based on a given range of known and unknown parameters [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
This paper describes the development of a generative-adversarial neural network for generating metal alloy compounds with given parameters. The resulting alloy is described by 19 parameters: 14 describe the alloy composition and 5 describe the alloy ...

Longitudinal genome‐wide aneuploidy measurements in circulating cell‐free DNA to predict lack of benefit from pembrolizumab in patients with metastatic urothelial cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

MEPDG Work Plan Task No. 8: Validation of Pavement Performance Curves for the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide, 2009 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The objective of this research is to determine whether the nationally calibrated performance models used in the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG) provide a reasonable prediction of actual field performance, and if the desired accuracy ...
