This chapter proposes the hybrid inquiry-based learning (HIBL) model, a novel pedagogical model based on inquiry-based learning (IBL). In IBL, learning is achieved by questioning and learners are encouraged to invent new hypotheses instead of investigating questions posed by the instructor.
