Effects of Mg on Microstructure and Solidification of a Hypereutectic Zn–8 wt.%Al Alloy
An appreciable set of results involving thermal data, microstructure, chemical composition, and microstructural growth laws is reported for ZnAlMg alloys. Such results demonstrate that ZnAlMg alloys have high potential for applications in automotive self‐lubricating components, batteries, and electrical systems.

Real-time virtual object insertion
Proceedings Eighth IEEE International Conference on Computer Vision. ICCV 2001, 2005We present a system to insert virtual objects into real image sequences in real time. The system consists of offthe- shelf hardware (a camera connected to a Pentium PC) and software to (a) automatically select and track region features despite changes in illumination, (b) estimate threedimensional position and orientation of surface patches relative to

Time insertion functions as a tool to guarantee security of processes with respect to timing attacks are discussed and studied. We work with a security property called opacity and we investigate how it can be enforced by such functions. The time insertion function can alter time behaviour of original system by inserting some time delays to guarantee ...
