Smart Electrolyte Additives Toward Durable Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries
This work highlights electrolyte additive strategies for stabilizing interfaces in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries. By modulating solvation structures and promoting uniform Zn deposition, the designed inorganic and organic additives effectively suppress dendrite growth, parasitic reactions, and cathode dissolution, thus enhancing cycling stability and ...

Phase Diagrams Enable Solid‐State Battery Design
Batteries are non‐equilibrium devices with inherent thermodynamic driving forces to react at interfaces, regardless of kinetics or operating conditions. Chemical potential mismatches across interfaces are dissipated via interfacial reactions. In this work, it is illustrated how phase diagrams and chemical potential maps predict degradation pathways but

A low‐cost, maskless visible light photopatterning system has been developed by combining a consumer‐grade projector with a single Fresnel lens, generating the Fresnel Lens Integrated Projector (FLIP) system. FLIP enables flexible photopatterning of solid and gel films with features down to 30 µm and 135 µm, respectively.
