This study presents a new hole transporting material (HTM) mechanism for self‐assembled monolayers in near‐infrared organic photodetectors. The formation of zwitterions induces a strong electric field that significantly increases the work function of HTM‐coated indium tin oxide substrates. The devices exhibit low dark current and noise, along with high

Sparse Time-Frequency decomposition for multiple signals with same frequencies [PDF]
In this paper, we consider multiple signals sharing same instantaneous frequencies. This kind of data is very common in scientific and engineering problems. To take advantage of this special structure, we modify our data-driven time-frequency analysis by

Digital Actuation Control of Soft Robotic Origami With Self‐Folding Liquid Crystal Elastomer Hinges
Self‐folding soft‐rigid hybrid robotic origami is enabled by liquid crystal elastomer actuators with embedded Joule heating and closed‐loop digital control. Digitally addressable hinges provide reversible and programmable transitions between distinct folded states while maintaining actuation performance at high cycle counts (over 1500).

A Cu‐based crystal‐glass composite with high‐density twins is identified by a fast screening technique using combinatorial sputtering together with XRD and nanoindentation mapping. This bamboo‐like structure demonstrates homogenous plastic flow and retains high strength during in situ high temperature tests, up to 1 GPa at 550°C, owing to those ...

Time-frequency analysis of chaotic systems
We describe a method for analyzing the phase space structures of Hamiltonian systems. This method is based on a time-frequency decomposition of a trajectory using wavelets.

Interferometer Instantaneous Frequency Identifier
The rapid development of radar, communication and weapons guidance systems generates an urgent need for microwave receivers to detect possible threats at the earliest stage of a military mission. The microwave receivers used to intercept the RF signals must be able to meet these challenges.

Bio‐Inspired Molecular Events in Poly(Ionic Liquids)
Originating from dipolar and polar inter‐ and intra‐chain interactions of the building blocks, the topologies and morphologies of poly(ionic liquids) (PIL) govern their nano‐ and micro‐processibility. Modulating the interactions of cation‐anion pairs with aliphatic dipolar components enables the tunability of properties, facilitated by “bottom‐up ...

Broadband Instantaneous Frequency Measurement Using Frequency-to-Time Mapping and Channelization
A photonic instantaneous microwave frequency measurement scheme based on frequency-to-time mapping and channelization is proposed. An unknown signal is divided into four channels and mixed with a broadband linear frequency-modulated signal. The frequency
