The objectives for high precision astrometry on ELTs will be challenging, with requirements in the range from 10 to 50 micro-arc-seconds for some instruments and science cases. Reducing and correctly calibrating the systematic and quasi-static errors introduced by optical surface distortions will be an important part of meeting these goals.

From Adult to Adolescent: Alignment in Clinical Trials and Outcomes in Axial Spondyloarthritis
Spondyloarthritis (SpA) is a group of chronic inflammatory diseases encompassing axial and peripheral forms, with up to 20% of patients developing symptoms before age 16. Despite this substantial pediatric burden, treatment options for juvenile‐onset SpA (JSpA), particularly those with axial disease (axJSpA), remain limited.

Development of a Disease Activity Index for the Assessment of VEXAS Syndrome (VEXAS‐DAI)
Objective Vacuoles, E1 enzyme, X‐linked, autoinflammatory, somatic syndrome (VEXAS) syndrome is characterized by a complex spectrum of inflammatory and hematologic manifestations. Clinical research to identify effective therapies is urgently needed but is hindered by the lack of validated outcome measures.

PAPYRUS: from an adaptive optics system to an instrumental platform
PAPYRUS is an adaptive optics bench setup on the telescope T152, 1.52m diameter, of Observatoire de Haute Provence (OHP, France) since June 2022. This bench has been designed for research and development in adaptive optics and educational purposes. However it gained in maturity since its first light and is now evolving towards an instrumental platform,

Creating Ti–Fe α/β Alloys by Diffusion‐Driven Solid‐State Processing
This study proposes making alloys containing fast diffusing elements that are difficult to produce by ingot metallurgy, by diffusion‐driven solid‐state HIP processing of elemental powders and low‐temperature homogenisation. Here, novel Fe‐Ti α–β alloys are formed having fine α–β lamellae, a small β prior grain size without significant intermetallics ...
