Abstract A liquid helium polarimeter for the measurement of neutron polarization in the 2 to 20 MeV energy range is described. A neutron time-of-flight technique is employed to resolve neutrons of different energy groups. For a 2 meter flight path, the energy resolution is between 6% and 7% for polarization measurements.
