Effect of Ni2O3 Doping on the Electrical Properties and Intrinsic Defect Concentration of ZnO Varistor Ceramics [PDF]
With the development of high voltage transmission, there is an urgent need to develop ZnO varistor ceramics with high anti-aging properties. The key is to manipulate the intrinsic defect concentration of ZnO varistor ceramics precisely.

Porous Thermal Insulation Polyurethane Foam Materials
Porous thermal insulation materials (PTIMs) are a class of materials characterized by low thermal conductivity, low bulk density and high porosity. The low thermal conductivity of the gas enclosed in their pores allows them to achieve efficient thermal ...

Topological magnon insulator in insulating ferromagnet [PDF]
In the ferromagnetic insulator with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction, we theoretically predict and numerically verify a topological magnon insulator, where the charge-free magnon is topologically protected to transport along the edge while it is insulating in the bulk.

Topologically Localized Insulators
We show that fully-localized, three-dimensional, time-reversal-symmetry-broken insulators do not belong to a single phase of matter but can realize topologically distinct phases that are labelled by integers. The phase transition occurs only when the system becomes conducting at some filling.

Topological Insulator Metamaterials
Confinement of electromagnetic fields at the subwavelength scale via metamaterial paradigms is an established method to engineer light-matter interaction in most common material systems, from insulators to semiconductors, from metals to superconductors.
