Quantization of symplectic tori in a real polarization

open access: yes, 1996
We apply the geometric quantization method with real polarizations to the quantization of a symplectic torus. By quantizing with half-densities we canonically associate to the symplectic torus a projective Hilbert space and prove that the projective ...

Probabilistic properties of GNSS integer ambiguity estimation [PDF]

open access: yesEarth, Planets and Space, 2014
Successful integer estimation of carrier phase ambiguities of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) is the key to many high precision positioning applications. In order to describe the quality of the positioning results rigorously, one needs to know the probabilistic properties of both the integer and noninteger parameters in the GNSS model.

Causal Prediction of TP53 Variant Pathogenicity Using a Perturbation‐Informed Protein Language Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A TP53‐specific predictor, CaVepP53, is developed by fine‐tuning ESMC on experimentally validated variants, quantifying pathogenicity via Euclidean distances. It outperforms general‐purpose models and extends to five cancer genes, enabling interpretable variant classification for precision medicine.

Measuring Which-Path Information with Coupled Electronic Mach-Zehnder Interferometers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We theoretically investigate a generalized "which-path" measurement on an electronic Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) implemented via Coulomb coupling to a second electronic MZI acting as a detector.

Self‐Powered Bearing Sensing and Real‐Time Fault Diagnosis Enabled by Non‐Invasive Triboelectric Sensors and Edge AI Acceleration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study achieves the synergistic integration of self‐powered sensing and edge AI acceleration to establish a real‐time fault diagnosis system. The proposed TENG‐based self‐powered bearing sensor (NSE‐TBS) and FPGA‐accelerated edge AI framework fundamentally break through the inherent limitations of conventional monitoring systems, including complex ...

Assessing the Performance of Multi-GNSS PPP-RTK in the Local Area

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2020
The benefits of an increased number of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) in space have been confirmed for the robustness and convergence time of standard precise point positioning (PPP) solutions, as well as improved accuracy when (most of) the ...

Comparing Instanton Contributions with Exact Results in N=2 Supersymmetric Scale Invariant Theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
We discuss the general issues and ambiguities involved in matching the exact results for the low energy effective action of scale invariant N=2 supersymmetric QCD to those obtained by instanton methods.
