GraphReco: Probabilistic Structure Recognition for Chemical Molecules
Molecule structure images are unfriendly for machine understanding, blocking productivity improvements in chemical data mining, drug discovery, and many other fields. We present a rule‐based probabilistic Optical Chemical Structure Recognition model to explain and tackle the ambiguity challenges in graph assembly.

Assessing novelty, feasibility and value of creative ideas with an unsupervised approach using GPT‐4
Abstract Creativity is defined by three key factors: novelty, feasibility and value. While many creativity tests focus primarily on novelty, they often neglect feasibility and value, thereby limiting their reflection of real‐world creativity. In this study, we employ GPT‐4, a large language model, to assess these three dimensions in a Japanese‐language

Research on GPS geometry-based observational stochastic error model
Aiming at the problem of not enough influencing factors were considered in traditional methods,a much more realistic stochastic model was built. In which error corrections were introduced into the geometry-based function model,an improved least squares ...

Homo luzonensis and the role of homoplasy in the morphology of hominin insular species
Abstract Homo luzonensis lived during the upper Pleistocene in the northern Philippines, east of the Wallace line. The few specimens attributed to this species show a mosaic of plesiomorphies for the genus Homo and apomorphies found in upper Pleistocene Homo species.

Block scheduling in practice: An optimal decomposition strategy for nonidentical operating rooms
Abstract We develop and implement a Master Surgery Schedule for a real‐life hospital, assigning operating room (OR) time to surgical specialties over a multi‐week horizon. Through action research, we identify a critical operational challenge: the issue of split blocks. Split blocks allow two specialties to share an OR on the same day—one in the morning,

A novel stop-and-go kinematic positioning method for PPP–RTK
The technology of precise point positioning – real time kinematic (PPP – RTK) can realize regional accurate positioning. However, poor quality atmospheric corrections can greatly impact the integer ambiguity resolution.

Reliable GPS Integer Ambiguity Resolution [PDF]
To operate, guide and control vehicles in low visibility conditions, it is critical that the states of the vehicle are accurately estimated, which includes the three dimensiona position, velocity, and attitude. This can be accomplished by GPS (Global Positioning System) aided encoder or GPS aided inertial approaches. The overall positioning accuracy of
