Slight Truncation Changes in Iron Oxide Nanocubes Strongly Affect Their Magnetic Properties
Subtle variations in nanoparticle morphology can lead to significant changes in functional properties. An automated shape‐fitting method captures minor differences in corner truncation between iron oxide nanocubes of similar sizes synthesized under identical conditions, revealing pronounced disparities in their magnetic and hyperthermia behavior ...

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Actuation of Cell Layers in Three Dimensions
ABSTRACT The alignment of fibers and cells in living tissues affect their mechanical properties and functionality. In this context, one can draw an analogy between tissues and nematic liquid crystal elastomers. We explore this analogy by growing fibroblasts on 2D‐patterned substrates and observing the contraction of cell sheets upon detachment from the

Column-Generation in Integer Linear Programming [PDF]
This article presents an exact method for solving integer and binary linear programming problems based on the branch-and-price technique. The article begins with an overview of branch-and-price column generation techniques as applied to integer linear programs (LP), which is then followed by an overview of applications, e.g., the vehicle routing ...

SURF: identifying and allocating resources during Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest
Background When an Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) incident is reported to emergency services, the 911 agent dispatches Emergency Medical Services to the location and activates responder network system (RNS), if the option is available.
