Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Non-integrability of the generalised spring-pendulum problem

open access: yes, 2003
We investigate a generalisation of the three dimensional spring-pendulum system. The problem depends on two real parameters $(k,a)$, where $k$ is the Young modulus of the spring and $a$ describes the nonlinearity of elastic forces.

Dirichlet and Neumann Problems for String Equation, Poncelet Problem and Pell-Abel Equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We consider conditions for uniqueness of the solution of the Dirichlet or the Neumann problem for 2-dimensional wave equation inside of bi-quadratic algebraic curve.

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

On the Boyarsky-Meyers estimate for the solution of the Dirichlet problem for a second-order linear elliptic equation with drift

open access: yesСовременная математика: Фундаментальные направления
We establish the increased integrability of the gradient of the solution to the Dirichlet problem for the Laplace operator with lower terms and prove the unique solvability of this problem.

The full Quantum Spectral Curve for AdS4/CFT3

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
The spectrum of planar N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 6 superconformal Chern-Simons theory, dual to type IIA superstring theory on AdS4 × CP 3, is accessible at finite coupling using integrability.

Non-integrability of measure preserving maps via Lie symmetries [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We consider the problem of characterizing, for certain natural number $m$, the local $\mathcal{C}^m$-non-integrability near elliptic fixed points of smooth planar measure preserving maps. Our criterion relates this non-integrability with the existence of

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

From the Birkhoff-Gustavson normalization to the Bertrand-Darboux integrability condition

open access: yes, 2000
The Bertrand-Darboux integrability condition for a certain class of perturbed harmonic oscillators is studied from the viewpoint of the Birkhoff-Gustavson(BG)-normalization: By solving an inverse problem of the BG-normalization on computer algebra, it is

Non-integrability of geodesic flow on certain algebraic surfaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This paper addresses an open problem recently posed by V. Kozlov: a rigorous proof of the non-integrability of the geodesic flow on the cubic surface $x y z=1$. We prove this is the case using the Morales-Ramis theorem and Kovacic algorithm.
