On a Schwarzian PDE associated with the KdV hierarchy [PDF]
We present a novel integrable non-autonomous partial differential equation of the Schwarzian type, i.e. invariant under M\"obius transformations, that is related to the Korteweg-de Vries hierarchy.

Representations of sl(2,?) in category O and master symmetries [PDF]
We show that the indecomposable sl(2,?)-modules in the Bernstein-Gelfand-Gelfand category O naturally arise for homogeneous integrable nonlinear evolution systems. We then develop a new approach called the O scheme to construct master symmetries for such

Integrability of generalised type II defects in affine Toda field theory
The Liouville integrability of the generalised type II defects is investigated. Full integrability is not considered, only the existence of an infinite number of conserved quantities associated with a system containing a defect.

Momentum conserving defects in affine Toda field theories
Type II integrable defects with more than one degree of freedom at the defect are investigated. A condition on the form of the Lagrangian for such defects is found which ensures the existence of a conserved momentum in the presence of the defect.

Defects in the supersymmetric mKdV hierarchy via Bäcklund transformations
The integrability of the N=1 $$ \mathcal{N}=1 $$ supersymmetric modified Korteweg de-Vries (smKdV) hierarchy in the presence of defects is investigated through the construction of its super Bäcklund transformation. The construction of such transformation

Intertwining operator and integrable hierarchies from topological strings
In [1], Nakatsu and Takasaki have shown that the melting crystal model behind the topological strings vertex provides a tau-function of the KP hierarchy after an appropriate time deformation.

A Complex Integrable Hierarchy and Its Hamiltonian Structure for Integrable Couplings of WKI Soliton Hierarchy [PDF]
We generate complex integrable couplings from zero curvature equations associated with matrix spectral problems in this paper. A direct application to the WKI spectral problem leads to a novel soliton equation hierarchy of integrable coupling system; then we consider the Hamiltonian structure of the integrable coupling system.

Witten’s D 4 integrable hierarchies conjecture [PDF]
We prove that the total descendant potential functions of the theory of Fan-Jarvis-Ruan-Witten for D_4 with symmetry group and D_4^T with symmetry group G_{max}, respectively, are both tau-functions of the D_4 Kac-Wakimoto/Drinfeld-Sokolov hierarchy.

Integrable Hamiltonian Hierarchies [PDF]
Preface In the past decades now a famous class of evolution equations has been discovered and intensively studied, a class including the nowadays celebrated Korteweg-de Vries equation, sine-Gordon equation, nonlinear Schr ̈odinger equation, etc. The equations from this class are known also as the soliton equations or equations solvable by the so ...
