Associativity equations in dispersionless integrable hierarchies
We discuss the origin of the associativity (WDVV) equations in the context of quasiclassical or Whitham hierarchies. The associativity equations are shown to be encoded in the dispersionless limit of the Hirota equations for KP and Toda hierarchies. We show, therefore, that any tau-function of dispersionless KP or Toda hierarchy provides a solution to ...

Value of MRI Outcomes for Preventive and Early‐Stage Trials in Spinocerebellar Ataxias 1 and 3
ABSTRACT Objective To examine the value of MRI outcomes as endpoints for preventive and early‐stage trials of two polyglutamine spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs). Methods A cohort of 100 participants (23 SCA1, 63 SCA3, median Scale for the Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) score = 5, 42% preataxic, and 14 gene‐negative controls) was scanned at 3T up ...

Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.

A generalized super-NLS-mKdV hierarchy is proposed related to Lie superalgebra B(0,1); the resulting supersoliton hierarchy is put into super bi-Hamiltonian form with the aid of supertrace identity. Then, the super-NLS-mKdV hierarchy with self-consistent

Integrable fractional Burgers hierarchy
Abstract Linear and integrable non-linear fractional evolution equations are discussed. Earlier results for the integrable fractional Korteweg–deVries (KdV) equation and the KdV hierarchy are reviewed. Using these as a guide, the fractional integrable Burgers equation and hierarchy and its solutions are analysed. Some explicit solutions are provided.

INTEGRABLE HIERARCHIES AND THE WDVV-EQUATIONS [PDF]
In this paper an overview is given of connections between the Witten-Dijkgraaf-Verlinde-Verlinde equations and its generalization and various integrable systems. In particular its link with the $n$-component $KP$-hierarchy is treated in a fairly detailed way.

Harnessing Fungal Biowelding for Constructing Mycelium‐Engineered Materials
Mycelium‐bound composites (MBCs) offer low‐carbon alternatives for construction, yet interfacial bonding remains a critical challenge. This review examines fungal biowelding as a biocompatible adhesive, elucidating mycelium‐mediated interfacial mechanisms and their role in material assembly. Strategies to optimize biowelding are discussed, highlighting

The Finite Discrete KP Hierarchy and the Rational Functions
The set of all rational functions with any fixed denominator that simultaneously nullify in the infinite point is parametrized by means of a well-known integrable system: a finite dimensional version of the discrete KP hierarchy.
