In a recent paper (Open Physics 2021;19:679–682), Khalil Salim Al-Ghafri investigated the soliton structures of the integrable Kundu–Mukherjee–Naskar (KMN) equation in optical fiber communication.

Algebro-Geometric Solutions for a Discrete Integrable Equation
With the assistance of a Lie algebra whose element is a matrix, we introduce a discrete spectral problem. By means of discrete zero curvature equation, we obtain a discrete integrable hierarchy. According to decomposition of the discrete systems, the new

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Darboux Transformations for SUSY Integrable Systems
Several types of Darboux transformations for supersymmetric integrable systems such as the Manin-Radul KdV, Mathieu KdV and SUSY sine-Gordon equations are considered.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Generalized Hirota bilinear identity and integrable q-difference and lattice hierarchies.
Hirota bilinear identity for Cauchy-Baker-Akhieser (CBA) kernel is introduced as a basic tool to construct integrable hierarchies containing lattice and q-difference times.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

Discrete Derivative Nonlinear Schrödinger Equations
We consider novel discrete derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equations (ddNLSs). Taking the continuum derivative nonlinear Schrödinger equation (dNLS), we use for the discretisation of the derivative the forward, backward, and central difference schemes ...

Integrated Project Delivery as Integration between Solution Development and Solution Implementation
The literature dealing with general management recognizes two important phases of any project's and product's life cycle, the solution development and solution implementation. Both of the phases have been explored on the case of IT industry and the model recognizes two important variables: number of agents and level of interdisciplinarity.
