Integrable Boundary Conditions for Quad Equations, Open Boundary Reductions, and Integrable Mappings [PDF]
Abstract In the context of integrable difference equations on quad-graphs, we introduce the method of open boundary reductions, as an alternative to the well-known periodic reductions, for constructing discrete integrable mappings and their invariants. The mappings are obtained from well-posed initial value problems for quad and boundary

Boundary conditions for integrable equations [PDF]
Summary: The problem of constructing boundary conditions for nonlinear equations compatible with higher symmetries is considered. In particular, this problem is discussed for the sine-Gordon, Jiber-Shabat, Liouville and KdV equations. New results are obtained for the last two ones.

Integrable open boundary conditions for XXC models [PDF]
The XXC models are multistate generalizations of the well known spin 1/2 XXZ model. These integrable models share a common underlying su(2) structure. We derive integrable open boundary conditions for the hierarchy of conserved quantities of the XXC models .

Integrable boundary conditions and modified Lax equations [PDF]
We consider integrable boundary conditions for both discrete and continuum classical integrable models. Local integrals of motion generated by the corresponding transfer matrices give rise to time evolution equations for the initial Lax operator. We systematically identify the modified Lax pairs for both discrete and continuum boundary integrable ...

Solution to a parabolic equation with integral type boundary condition
In this paper we study the existence, and continuous dependence of the solution ϑ=ϑ(x,t) on a Hölder space H2+γ,1+γ/2(Q¯τ)(Q¯τ=[0,1]×[0,τ ...
