On Certain Subclass of Analytic Functions with Fixed Point

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
A new certain differential operator Tα,β,δ,λmf(z) and a subclass Sm,w*(α,β,γ,δ,λ) are introduced for functions of the form f(z)=(z−w)−∑n=2∞an(z−w)n which are univalent in the unit disc U={z∈ℂ:|z|

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

We can’t be here forever” : university students’ reflections on terminating community-engagement relationships

open access: yesSocial Work/Maatskaplike Werk, 2019
Studies on community engagement (CE) focus on its benefits but not enough on termination and difficulties experienced at the personal level with exiting projects.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Divisorial Extensions and the Computation of Integral Closures

open access: yesJournal of Symbolic Computation, 2000
The author introduces an approach to analyse the construction of the integral closure of an affine ring. Instead of using the Noetherianness condition, a usual technique, here the approach applies to any algorithm that uses a class of extensions called divisorial.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

The Calculation of Properties of Fracture and Experimental Certification for 00Cr17Ni14Mo2

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2006
:The strain stress curve and the J -integral were carried out using MTS machine for 00Cr17Ni14Mo2. Energy release rates G and the J -integral were evaluated based on the virtual crack closure technique and the method for Rice's J -integral.

Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...
