A general integral formalism based on multiple plane wave scattering theory for acousto-optic and holographic Bragg diffraction is developed. The formalism, which is a modification of earlier work, is applicable to dynamic gratings created by sound waves

A fully compensated synthetic antiferromagnet (SAF) multilayer exhibits a uniform state at zero field, without skyrmions. We use a SAF bias system to provide RKKY‐mediated exchange bias to the SAF multilayer, promoting zero‐field skyrmion stabilization and polarity control.

In this paper, the authors propose an algorithm for numerical solution of the 3D Helmholtz equation using the Parametric Integral Equation System (PIES). The PIES, unlike the traditional Boundary Integral Equation (BIE), is characterized by the fact that

Unravelling AdS3/CFT2 near the boundary
We study correlation functions of spectrally-flowed vertex operators in bosonic string theory on AdS3 × 𝑋 in the path integral formalism. By restricting the path integral to only include worldsheets which live near the asymptotic boundary, we compute ...

Bulk FePd2Te2 contains sparse interlayer Pd–Te covalent bonds, giving it unexpectedly low exfoliation energy and enabling van der Waals‐like exfoliation. Cleaving these bonds during exfoliation makes the monolayer magnetically distinct from the bulk: magnetic anisotropy energy increases, and the strain‐response coefficient of the magnetic moment ...

Electroweak three-body decays in the presence of two- and three-body bound states
Recently, formalism has been derived for studying electroweak transition amplitudes for three-body systems both in infinite and finite volumes. The formalism provides exact relations that the infinite-volume amplitudes must satisfy, as well as a ...

Effective Fokker-Planck equation: Path-integral formalism
We derive an effective Fokker-Planck equation for a nonlinear non-Markovian stochastic process using pathintegral formalism. The effective Fokker-Planck equation of our approximation scheme is local in state space and local in time, and its diffusion ...

Vacuum polarization correction to atomic energy levels in the path integral formalism
Vacuum polarization corrections to the energy levels of bound electrons are calculated using a perturbative path integral formalism. We apply quantum electrodynamics in a framework which treats the strong binding nuclear field to all orders.

The phase transition of supercritical CO2 induces the foaming of dense MXene film without compromise inherent structure of MXene nanosheet. The foamed porous MXene film manifests remarkable EMI shielding and infrared thermal camouflage performances. Moreover, the foaming strategy is broadly adaptable and can be extended to other two‐dimensional films ...
