Two Points Taylor’s Type Representations for Analytic Complex Functions with Integral Remainders [PDF]

open access: yesAnalele Universitatii "Ovidius" Constanta - Seria Matematica, 2021
Abstract In this paper we establish some two point weighted Taylor’s expansions for analytic functions f : D ⊆ ℂ→ ℂ defined on a convex domain D.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

On the Spectral Asymptotics of Operators on Manifolds with Ends

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We deal with the asymptotic behaviour, for λ→+∞, of the counting function NP(λ) of certain positive self-adjoint operators P with double order (m,μ), m,μ > 0,  m≠μ , defined on a manifold with ends M.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

A new type of Taylor series expansion

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
We present a variant of the classical integration by parts to introduce a new type of Taylor series expansion and to present some closed forms for integrals involving Jacobi and Laguerre polynomials, which cannot be directly obtained by usual symbolic ...

Torque estimation of permanent magnet synchronous machine using improved voltage model flux estimator

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications, 2021
A torque estimator for permanent magnet synchronous machines is presented based on flux estimation. The voltage model of the machine (Faraday's law) is employed to estimate the flux where pure integrators are applied to the electromotive force (EMF) of ...

Three Point Identities and Inequalities for n-time Differential Functions

open access: yes, 1999
Identities and inequalities are obtained involving n-time differentiable functions in terms of evaluations at an interior and at the end points. It is shown how previous work is recaptured as particular instances of the current development.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Uniform Approximation to the Solution of a Singularly Perturbed Boundary Value Problem with an Initial Jump

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In this study, a third-order linear integro-differential equation with a small parameter at two higher derivatives was considered. An asymptotic expansion of the solution to the boundary value problem for the considered equation is constructed by ...
