On Ostrowski Like Integral Inequality for the Čebyšev Difference and Applications
Some integral inequalities similar to the Ostrowski’s result for Čebyšev’s difference and applications for perturbed generalized Taylor’s formula are ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

This paper, first, we consider the Volterra integral equation for the remainder term in the asymptotic formula for the associated Euler totient function. Secondly, we solve the Volterra integral equation and we split the error term in the asymptotic formula for the associated Euler totient function into two summands called arithmetic and analytic part ...

Darboux's Formula with Integral Remainder of Functions with Two Independent Variables
In the article, the noted Darboux’s formula of functions with single variable is generalized to that of functions of two independent variables with integral remainder, some important special cases of Darboux’s formula of functions with two variables are ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Some Properties of Normalized Tails of Maclaurin Power Series Expansions of Sine and Cosine
In the paper, the authors introduce two notions, the normalized remainders, or say, the normalized tails, of the Maclaurin power series expansions of the sine and cosine functions, derive two integral representations of the normalized tails, prove the ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
