An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Ubiquitination of secretory granules promotes their crinophagic degradation in Drosophila
Ubiquitination of secretory granules in Drosophila larval salivary glands is a critical molecular trigger for crinophagy, the lysosomal degradation of unreleased, or low‐quality granules. The E3 ubiquitin ligase Cnot4 is recruited to the surface of secretory granules to induce crinophagy.

Integral transforms of the S-functions
The object of this paper is to introduce a new special function, which will be called S-function. This function is an extension of the generalized Mittag-Leffler function due to Prabhakar [7], generalized Mittag-Leffler function introduced by Srivastava ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Lie Group Symmetries as Integral Transforms of Fundamental Solutions [PDF]
We obtain fundamental solutions for PDEs of the form ut = x uxx +f(x)ux ??xru by showing that if the symmetry group of the PDE is nontrivial, it contains a standard integral transform of the fundamental solution. We show that in this case, the problem of

The following class of integral transform pairs is established [equations]. The kernel in the transform (1) is MacRobert's E-function and integration is performed with respect to the argument of this function.

Solutions of certain initial-boundary value problems via a new extended Laplace transform
In this article, we present a novel extended exponential kernel Laplace-type integral transform. The Laplace, natural, and Sumudu transforms are all included in the suggested transform.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Integral transforms for engineers
Integral transform methods provide effective ways to solve a variety of problems arising in the engineering, optical, and physical sciences. Suitable as a self-study for practicing engineers and applied mathematicians and as a textbook in graduate-level ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
