Detection of Different Pesticide Residues in Seasonal Leafy Vegetables of North Bengal Region, Bangladesh

FTIR spectroscopy detected multiple pesticide residues—thiamethoxam, carbendazim, mancozeb + metalaxyl, and dimethoate—in commonly consumed leafy vegetables from North Bengal, Bangladesh. These findings highlight potential food safety risks and emphasize the need for regular monitoring and safer pesticide management practices.
