WaterMet2: a tool for integrated analysis of sustainability-based performance of urban water systems [PDF]
This paper presents the "WaterMet2" model for long-term assessment of urban water system (UWS) performance which will be used for strategic planning of the integrated UWS.

A Population Model of Integrative Cardiovascular Physiology
We present a small integrative model of human cardiovascular physiology. The model is population-based; rather than using best fit parameter values, we used a variant of the Metropolis algorithm to produce distributions for the parameters most associated with model sensitivity.

Integrated population models: Model assumptions and inference [PDF]
Abstract Integrated population models (IPMs) have become increasingly popular for the modelling of populations, as investigators seek to combine survey and demographic data to understand processes governing population dynamics. These models are particularly useful for identifying and exploring knowledge gaps within life histories, because they allow ...

Blue Stragglers in Galactic Open Clusters and the Integrated Spectral Energy Distributions
Synthetic integrated spectral properties of the old Galactic open clusters are studies in this work, where twenty-seven Galactic open clusters of ages >= 1Gyr are selected as the working sample.

We used an integrated Bayesian state‐space population model to assess whether management objectives were met before (1995–2003), during (2004–2010), and after (2011–2013) antlerless permits to harvest mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) were increased in ...

Consequences of cross‐season demographic correlations for population viability
Demographic correlations are pervasive in wildlife populations and can represent important secondary drivers of population growth. Empirical evidence suggests that correlations are in general positive for long‐lived species, but little is known about the

Darboux integrability and dynamics of the Basener–Ross population model [PDF]
We deal with the Basener and Ross model for the evolution of human population in Easter island. We study the Darboux integrability of this model and characterize all its global dynamics in the Poincaré disc, obtaining $15$ different topological phase portraits.
