Secure Transmission in ISAC Systems Aided by Active STAR‐RIS

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper investigates the secure transmission problem in an active simultaneous transmitting and reflecting intelligent reflecting surfaces (STAR‐RIS)‐aided integrated sensing and communication downlink system. Our objective is to maximize the sum secrecy rate by jointly optimizing the base station beamforming vectors, the sensing signal covariance ...

ISAC for AAM: Integrated Sensing and Communication Technology for Advanced Air Mobility

open access: yes2025 IEEE International Smart Cities Conference (ISC2)
This position paper explores how future 6G Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) technology can enhance U-space services for cooperative UAVs flying Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLoS) at low altitudes. Two critical scenarios are investigated: GNSS failure and network outage, each addressed through dedicated workflow procedures linking U-space ...

Unified Downlink‐Uplink Waveform Optimization For MIMO‐OFDM Integrated Sensing and Communication

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper presents a unified waveform allocation framework for downlink and uplink MIMO‐OFDM integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems in 6G networks. We develop five optimization schemes, including optimal‐for‐communication, optimal‐for‐sensing, and MMSE‐based joint allocation, with closed‐form expressions for spectral efficiency, sensing ...

Clock Asynchronism Calibration in Bistatic Sensing Systems via Expert‐Guided Cross‐Attention Mechanism

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper addresses the issue of sampling point offset and ranging bias caused by frequency discrepancies between the crystal oscillators of transceivers in bistatic sensing systems, proposing an expert‐guided cross‐attention network. ABSTRACT With the rapid evolution of wireless communication networks, it has become increasingly desirable for base ...

Analysis and Detection of RIS-based Spoofing in Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC)

open access: yesCoRR
Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) is a key feature of next-generation 6G wireless systems, allowing them to achieve high data rates and sensing accuracy. While prior research has primarily focused on addressing communication safety in ISAC systems, the equally critical issue of sensing safety remains largely under-explored. In this paper, the

Deep Reinforcement Learning‐Based Power Control Optimisation for Maximising Energy Efficiency in mmWave User‐Centric Cell‐Free Massive MIMO

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The multi‐agent Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL)‐based uplink power control algorithm significantly improves energy efficiency using multi‐agent Deep Deterministic Twin Policy Gradient (MATD3) with dynamic clustering. The Proposed algorithm outperforms single‐agent DRL and classical methods.

Spatio‐Temporal cGAN Based Channel Estimation for Low‐Altitude Integrated Sensing and Communication Systems

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
Reliable channel estimation in low‐altitude ISAC is challenged by UAV‐induced fast‐varying and non‐stationary channels. We present an ST‐cGAN framework that jointly models spatial and temporal features under conditional adversarial learning, achieving superior accuracy and robustness compared with conventional and deep learning baselines.

Active RIS‐Aided Wideband Self‐Interference Cancellation Method for Full‐Duplex and ISAC Systems

open access: yesElectronics Letters, Volume 62, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This letter proposes a broadband self‐interference cancellation (SIC) method based on a 4 × 4 active reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) array for full‐duplex (FD) and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) systems. Measurement results demonstrate that the proposed active RIS‐aided SIC method provides an additional 20 dB of SIC over a 200 MHz
