Applying Lessons from Cyber Attacks on Ukrainian Infrastructures to Secure Gateways onto the Industrial Internet of Things [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Previous generations of safety-related industrial control systems were ‘air gapped’. In other words, process control components including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and smart sensor/actuators were disconnected and isolated from local or wide

Compressive TDOA Estimation Method Based on Amplitude Phase Clustering in Time‐Frequency Domain

open access: yesIET Signal Processing, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In the field of signal processing, modulation signals, including phase shift keying (PSK) and quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM), can significantly enhance the signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) through aliasing transmission following clustering and sorting.

Simultaneous Perfect Anomalous Reflection and Angle of Arrival Sensing in Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, Volume 13, Issue 13, May 5, 2025.
A reconfigurable intelligent surface is proposed that can simultaneously anomalously reflect the light and sense the angle of arrival. An in situ optimization of either the currents flowing on array elements or the far field in the receiver direction realizes anomalous reflection and suppresses parasitic scattering.
