Theory-practice integration in selected clinical situations
The current changes in health care systems challenge knowledgeable, mature and independent practitioners to integrate theoretical content with practice. The aim of this study was to investigate the problems of integrating theory with practice in selected

An integrated language theory [PDF]
The outlines of an INTEGRATED LANGUAGE THEORY are drawn, with grammar, semantics and text-theory as components. Problems of machine retrieval and machine translation are discussed on the basis of the outlined theory.

Gauge Theory And Integrability, I [PDF]
Several years ago, it was proposed that the usual solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation associated to Lie groups can be deduced in a systematic way from four-dimensional gauge theory. In the present paper, we extend this picture, fill in many details, and present the arguments in a concrete and down-to-earth way. Many interesting effects, including the

Integrable theory of the perturbation equations [PDF]
An integrable theory is developed for the perturbation equations engendered from small disturbances of solutions. It includes various integrable properties of the perturbation equations: hereditary recursion operators, master symmetries, linear representations (Lax and zero curvature representations) and Hamiltonian structures etc.

ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

Integral excision for $K$-theory [PDF]
If A is a homotopy cartesian square of ring spectra satisfying connectivity hypotheses, then the cube induced by Goodwillie's integral cyclotomic trace from K(A) to TC(A) is homotopy cartesian. In other words, the homotopy fiber of the cyclotomic trace satisfies excision.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.
