Peridynamics with a Cube‐Shaped Neighborhood

open access: yesProceedings in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Volume 26, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the effects of cube‐shaped neighborhoods in peridynamic theory as an alternative to the traditional spherical neighborhoods. We examine how different neighborhood geometries influence the behavior of various peridynamic formulations, including bond‐based models, state‐based formulations, and correspondence methods.

From Douyin Shop to TikTok Shop: The Platformized Supply Chain, Spatialized Business Model, and Regional Partnership in Cross‐Border e‐Commerce

open access: yesPolicy &Internet, Volume 18, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This article investigates how TikTok Shop reproduces the e‐commerce model of Douyin Shop against a backdrop of divergent regulatory challenges and geopolitical distrust. One of the strategic changes we observe in TikTok Shop is the shift of consumer goods suppliers from local merchants to China‐based sellers.

Surveillance of ash trees under multiple threats: Integrating emerald ash borer and ash dieback dynamics with stakeholder behaviour

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 63, Issue 3, March 2026.
Tree‐health policies must balance identifying likely entry points and deployment of traps, targeted information campaigns and surveillance subsidies for land managers. Our unique, cross‐disciplinary approach can be applied to other pest/pathogen systems to inform tree‐health plans and how to balance resources.

An Analytical and Approximate Solution for Nonlinear Volterra Partial Integro-Differential Equations with a Weakly Singular Kernel Using the Fractional Differential Transform Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2018
An analytical-approximate method is proposed for a type of nonlinear Volterra partial integro-differential equations with a weakly singular kernel. This method is based on the fractional differential transform method (FDTM).

Existence results for abstract partial neutral integro-differential equation with unbounded delay

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2009
In this paper we study the existence and regularity of mild solutions for a class of abstract partial neutral integro-differential equations with unbounded delay.

Boundary Value Problem for Weak Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations of Mixed Type with Fractional Hilfer Operator

open access: yesAxioms, 2020
In this paper, we consider a boundary value problem for a nonlinear partial differential equation of mixed type with Hilfer operator of fractional integro-differentiation in a positive rectangular domain and with spectral parameter in a negative ...

Evaluation of numerical integration schemes for a partial integro-differential equation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Numerical methods are important in computational neuroscience where complex nonlinear systems are studied. This report evaluates two methodologies, finite differences and Fourier series, for numerically integrating a nonlinear neural model based on a ...

Hedge Portfolios in Markets with Price Discontinuities [PDF]

open access: yes
We consider a market consisting of multiple assets under jump-diffusion dynamics with European style options written on these assets. It is well-known that such markets are incomplete in the Harrison and Pliska sense.

Solution of nonlinear problems by a new analytical technique using Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari polynomials

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2019
This article shows the solution of nonlinear differential equations by a new analytical technique called modified optimal homotopy perturbation method. Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari polynomials are used in the proposed method for the expansion of nonlinear ...

Modification of the Differential Transform Method With Search Direction Along the Spatial Axis

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations
This paper presents a modification of the Differential Transform Method (ModDTM) formulated so that the search direction of the solution is along a spatial axis (x). It is shown that the method is applicable to a wide spectrum of 1+1 partial differential
