Futuristic Intelligent Transportation System

open access: yesCoRR, 2021
The emerging autonomous vehicles (AVs) will inevitably revolutionize the transportation systems. This is because of a key feature of AVs; instead of being managed by human drivers as the conventional vehicles, AVs are of the complete capability to manage the driving by themselves. As a result, the futuristic intelligent transportation system (FITS) can

Learning transport processes with machine intelligence

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2022
AbstractTransport processes ruled by complex micro-physics and impractical to theoretical investigation may exhibit emergent behavior describable by mathematical expressions. Such information, while implicitly contained in the results of microscopic-scale numerical simulations close to first principles or experiments is not in a form suitable for ...

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...
