Polydopamine Nanoparticle‐Mediated Precise Near‐Infrared Optical Stimulation for Cognitive Enhancement

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Polydopamine nanoparticles enable a precise, non‐genetic, and transcranial neuromodulation strategy via near‐infrared photothermal stimulation. By activating TRPV1 channels, this approach specifically enhances hippocampal gamma oscillations, thereby rescuing spatial memory deficits in models of perioperative neurocognitive disorder.

Dosimetric Comparison between Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy in Head and Neck Cancer

open access: yesArcades of Medicine
Background: Head and neck cancer remains a major global oncological burden and often requires highly conformal radiotherapy because target volumes are complex and lie close to critical organs.

SOX5 Orchestrates Malignant Evolution via Promoter‐Centric Chromatin Remodeling in MYC‐Driven B‐Cell Lymphoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In MYC‐enforced B‐cell lymphoma, SOX5 occupies promoter‐proximal regulatory regions and is associated with reduced chromatin accessibility at the PCNP locus. PCNP repression promotes proliferative remodeling by limiting apoptosis and cell‐cycle restraint.

Black Hole Quencher‐Enhanced Plasmonic Photothermal Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Researchers have developed a universal method to boost plasmonic photothermal conversion by attaching black hole quencher (BHQ) molecules to matched metal nanostructures. This hybrid approach increases efficiency by roughly threefold, reaching up to 69.1% in the near‐infrared‐II window.

Bi-Level Optimization to Enhance Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy Planning [PDF]

open access: yes
Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy is an effective cancer treatment. Models based on the Generalized Equivalent Uniform Dose (gEUD) provide radiation plans with excellent planning target volume coverage and low radiation for organs at risk.

Engineering Synergistic Intra‐/Intermolecular Conformational Locking via Side‐Chain Branching: A β‐Sheet‐Inspired Strategy for Planar NIR‐II Phototheranostic Aggregates

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bio‐inspired side‐chain branching strategy is developed to orchestrate a dual noncovalent conformational locking (NoCL) network, enabling the construction of perfectly planar NIR‐II phototheranostic aggregates. Such structural precision maximizes light‐harvesting efficiency and optimizes exciton dynamics, ensuring synchronized enhancements in NIR‐II ...

Acute radiation dermatitis in endometrial cancer: Intensity-modulated radiotherapy versus volumetric modulated arc therapy

open access: yesJournal of Radiation Research and Applied Sciences
Background: Comparative data on acute radiation dermatitis between intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and volumetric modulated arc therapy (VMAT) in postoperative endometrial cancer are limited.

Identifying a Csmd3+ Microglial Subpopulation that Drives Cold‐to‐Hot Transition and Immune‐Cure in Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study establishes an immune‐cure (ICu) mouse model based on a TMEMed G422TN‐GBM system that faithfully recapitulates human TMEMed GBM. scRNA‐seq analysis reveals a Csmd3+ microglial subset with innate immune memory (IIM) potential that potently suppresses GBM growth, drives a TME cold‐to‐hot transition, and induces 100% ICu in long‐term survival ...

In Situ Profiling of Nanoscale Strains Uncovers Mechano‐Architectural Predictors of Aging and Osteoarthritis Emergence

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In situ mechanical loading of osteoarthritis‐prone murine knee joints reveals that spatial alterations in subchondral plate microarchitecture precede cartilage loss and promote a shift from coordinated epiphyseal strain dissipation in healthy joints to focal subchondral strain concentration in osteoarthritis‐prone joints.
