Intensive Lake Survey: New Brooklyn Lake
1981New Brooklyn Lake is located in Camden County and drains the upper Great Egg Harbor River watershed. This is a fairly large watershed, with mixed land use. Residential and agricultural land uses dominate certain sub-basins, but much of the watershed is undeveloped lowlands, including some extensive swamps.

1981The Lincoln Park Lakes are three small, shallow lakes in series with each other, located in a park in Hudson County. Their watershed is rather small, and includes mainly residential/commercial and park areas. The lower lake is little more than a marsh along the Hackensack River, and was not included in this survey.

1981Verona Park Lake lies on the Peckman River in a park in Essex County. The lake drains a fairly small watershed, but is very small itself. The watershed land use is primarily residential/commercial, but the headwaters of the Peckman River are located in a forested preserve.
