Inter-view motion prediction in 3D-HEVC
2014 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2014This paper presents a novel inter-view motion prediction technique used in 3D-HEVC which provides efficient compression for motion vectors. Smoothed inter-layer residual prediction for SHVC

The proposed method can reduce the prediction error presented in the enhancement layer by adding the residual signal of the reference layer to the motion-compensated prediction signal in the enhancement layer.

The interaction energy is defined, as usual, in terms of the 't Hooft loop. At short distances, the potential is calculable starting from first principles.
