Low Frequency Extensions of Cyclotron Maser Instability‐Generated Radio Emission: A Statistical View From Cassini at Saturn

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract The Cassini spacecraft spent 13 years orbiting Saturn, quasi‐continuously measuring Saturn's radio emissions. One of the key elements of the radio spectrum at Saturn is the Saturn Kilometric Radiation (SKR), and several studies have been written on events called Low Frequency Extensions (LFEs) which represent strong, continuous extensions of ...

Ground‐Based Solar Radio Observations From the Mexican e‐Callisto Stations During the May 2024 Extreme Space Weather Events

open access: yesSpace Weather, Volume 24, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract The period from 1 to 14 May 2024 was marked by some of the most intense solar activity of Solar Cycle 25, including multiple X‐class flares, fast coronal mass ejections (CMEs), and diverse solar radio emissions. We present observations from the Mexican e‐Callisto network (REC‐Mx), including long‐duration continuum emissions (CTMs), Type II ...

Chemogenetic Activation of G12 Signaling Thickens the Epidermis With Enhanced Barrier Function

open access: yesFASEB BioAdvances, Volume 8, Issue 8, August 2026.
In this study, we investigated the role of G12 signaling in the epidermis using a keratinocyte‐specific chemogenetic approach. Activation of G12 signaling promoted keratinocyte differentiation and enhanced epidermal barrier function by upregulating filaggrin, claudin‐1, and ceramide.

The Toll‐Like Receptor Signalling Pathway Is Altered in iPSC‐Derived Cortical Networks From People With Bipolar Disorder

open access: yesBipolar Disorders, Volume 28, Issue 5, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)‐derived brain cells are widely utilised as in vitro models for several neuropsychiatric disorders, as they retain the donor's genetic profile, offering a unique opportunity to study living human brain cells and perform controlled experimental manipulations.

Device and Data Access Considerations for Digital Health Studies Using Consumer‐Grade Wearables: An Experience‐Based Tutorial

open access: yesClinical and Translational Science, Volume 19, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Consumer‐grade wearables, including smartwatches, fitness trackers, and smart rings, are accessible tools for studying pharmacologic responses in real‐time, monitoring participant health in decentralized clinical trials, optimizing outcome measures, and delivering digital interventions that promote behavior change.
