Interaction Among Factor Variables

1981
In the last chapter we analyzed data on criminal court dispositions that could be explained by the main effects of the two factor variables. In this chapter we introduce more complexity into the analysis by adding another variable and another level to the type of offense variable.

Antimetabolite interactions with epidermal growth factor

Current Eye Research, 1996
Antimetabolites such as 5-fluorouracil and mitomycin C are known to delay wound healing. Epidermal growth factor (EGF) has been shown to accelerate corneal epithelial wound healing. This study was designed to investigate the effects of EGF on corneal epithelial healing that has been modified by antimetabolite treatment.

Interactions between colicinogenic factors and fertility factors

Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1964
Abstract Colicinogenic factors E2, E1, I, V and B are known to be transferred in conjugation among strains of Escherichia coli K12 as extrachromosomal particles ( Nagel de Zwaig, Anton and Puig, 1962 ; Clowes, 1963 ; Nagel de Zwaig, 1963 ; Puig, 1963 ). The present report is based on further observations on the behaviour of E.

Complex transcription factor interactions

Science, 2016
Systems Biology To respond to environmental changes, such as drought, plants must regulate numerous cellular processes. Working in the model plant Arabidopsis , Song et al. profiled the binding of 21 transcription factors to chromatin and mapped the complex gene regulatory networks involved in ...

Factors affecting epithelial interactions.

Ciba Foundation symposium, 1987
In an investigation of endogenous regulation of epithelial interaction, it was found that cultured embryo fibroblasts release an activity which causes loss of junctional attachment and separation of contiguous epithelial cells. This activity was originally observed in freshly cultured human mammary cells, but the MDCK cell line is also sensitive and ...
