Rational solitons of wave resonant-interaction models
Integrable models of resonant interaction of two or more waves in 1+1 dimensions are known to be of applicative interest in several areas. Here we consider a system of three coupled wave equations which includes as special cases the vector nonlinear ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Power-Zienau-Woolley representations of nonrelativistic QED for atoms and molecules
The interaction terms in the general nonrelativistic Hamiltonian for a collection of spin-free charged particles and the electromagnetic field may be expressed in terms of so-called polarization fields.

The representation of mathematical models via piecewise differential and integral operators for dynamic systems has this potential to capture cross-over behaviors such as a passage from deterministic to randomness which can be exhibited by different ...

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Electromagnetic fields calculation on the moving boundary of the medium irradiated by Airy pulse
Relevance. The new effects of electromagnetic pulse propagation obtained as a result of its interaction with a moving boundary can be actively used when pulses pass through various devices and equipment, such as lenses, mirrors, etc.

Numerical modelling of lateral stress on integral abutments due to cyclic loading
The integral bridge concept eliminates problems associated with expansion joints and bearings used on conventional bridges. However, integral structures are not free from problems, and of particular concern is the magnitude of lateral soil stress which ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.
