TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Non classical interaction aspects to a nonlinear physical model

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
This study deals the dynamics of waves to the conformable fractional (2+1)-dimensional Nizhnik–Novikov–Veselov (NNV) equations. The (2+1)-dimensional NNV equations are the isotropic Lax integrable extension of the (1+1)-dimensional Korteweg–de Vries ...

Experimental investigation of unsteadiness in transonic shock boundary layer interaction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Transonic shock wave/boundary layer interaction over a wall-mounted bump was investigated with specific focus on shock wave unsteadiness and identification of its source. A large separation bubble resulted of an interaction driven by a flow characterized

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Ordering phenomena in ternary transition‐metal dichalcogenides: Critical role of lattice symmetry and vdW interaction

open access: yesMaterials Genome Engineering Advances, 2023
Concentrated solid solution materials with huge compositional design space and normally unexpected property attract extensive interests of researchers. In these emerging materials, local composition fluctuation such as short‐range order (SRO), has been ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Discourse analysis and ethnomethodological discourse analysis

open access: yesMatrizes, 2014
This paper aims to present and discuss a range of theoretical perspectives towards discursive phenomena, in particular the different research techniques broadly known as ‘discourse analysis’, as well as the ethnomethodological approach to discourse ...

Punishment as an object of scientific research: challenges and prospects

open access: yesRUDN Journal of Law, 2023
Is devoted to the study of the legal phenomenon of punishment from the perspective of the general theory of law. It argues the need for an integrated approach to identifying the most important characteristics of punishment, considering its historical ...
