Evaluation of the ShapeTape tracker for wearable, mobile interaction
IEEE Virtual Reality, 2003. Proceedings., 2003We describe two engineering experiments designed to evaluate the effectiveness of Measurand's ShapeTape for wearable, mobile interaction. Our initial results suggest that the ShapeTape is not appropriate for interactions which require a high degree of accuracy.

Single-handed interaction for mobile and wearable computing
Proceedings of the 18th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services Adjunct, 2016Screen sizes on devices are becoming smaller, to allow them to fit in more places (e.g., wrists, sports bands and small music players). At the same time, screen sizes can be seen to become larger to accommodate new experiences (e.g., phablets, tablets, eReaders).

Ring GINA: A Wearable Computer Interaction Device
2014The Ring GINA platform is capable of sensing and interpreting a user’s hand and finger movements to emulate and enhance the functions of classic input methods to smartphones, tablets, and heads-up displays. A wearable platform frees the user from the need to know hand position relative to a keyboard or touchscreen, and grants the ability to perform ...

Many-to-One: Wearable Interactions
<p>While wearable technology in the form of clothes has been introduced for over a thousand years, it has been evolving in the last decade, with computer wearables to e-textile (Berzowska, 2005; Birringer & Danjoux, 2009; Capineri, 2014; Hartman, 2014; Lymberis & Paradiso, 2008; Ryan, n.d.; Sparacino et al., 1997).openaire +1 more source
