Network traffic behaviour near phase transition point [PDF]
We explore packet traffic dynamics in a data network model near phase transition point from free flow to congestion. The model of data network is an abstraction of the Network Layer of the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) Reference Model of packet ...

Nanotube-interconnected liposome networks
Tunneling phospholipid nanotubes between animal cells have recently been identified as a major building block in an important fundamental mechanism of cell-to-cell communication. In order to gain deeper understanding of this interaction and other micro- and nanoscale phenomena connected to material transport and communication in the living world, cell ...

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Security in transnational interoperable PPDR communications: threats and requirements [PDF]
The relevance of cross border security operations has been identified as a priority at European level for a long time. A European network where Public Protection and Disaster Relief (PPDR) forces share communications processes and a legal framework ...

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

RoundMi: A quantitative method to analyze mitochondrial morphology in mitotic cells
RoundMi is a workflow for rapid analysis of mitochondrial morphology in mitotic cells. By combining adaptive preprocessing with automated segmentation and quantification, it enables accurate measurements from single focal plane images, reducing acquisition time and computational demands while remaining compatible with high‐throughput fixed and live ...

FleX: A Flex Interconnected HPC System With Stochastic Load Balancing Scheme
We propose a new low-diameter interconnection network called FleX, which offers high flexibility when installing interconnections in a HPC system. FleX consists of multiple layers with only connections between neighboring layers and not within each layer.
