Trade-Off Analysis of NOMA-D2D and OFDMA-D2D Systems: Resource Allocation Perspective
Mutual interference between NOMA cellular users (CUs) and D2D links poses a challenge in extending NOMA’s resource allocation schemes to NOMA-D2D models.

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Cooperation alignment for distributed interference management [PDF]
We consider a cooperative Gaussian interference channel in which each receiver must decode its intended message locally, with the help of cooperation either at the receivers side or at the transmitter side. In the case of receiver cooperation, the receivers can process and share information through limited capacity backhaul links.

ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.

Early Impact of Childhood Opportunity on Neurocognitive Outcomes in Sickle Cell Disease
ABSTRACT Introduction Neurocognitive impairment is a well‐recognized complication of sickle cell disease (SCD) that begins early in childhood and persists across development. While cerebrovascular injury contributes substantially to risk, neurocognitive deficits are also observed in children without overt or silent cerebral infarctions, suggesting ...

Interference management in femtocell networks
ABSTRACTRecently, smaller cells such as femtocells have been proposed to address the cellular coverage problem and provide a ‘greener’ solution to future high‐speed wireless access. On the other hand, interference is a serious problem that could impact the wide deployment of femtocells. The contributions of this paper are threefold.
