FINEST - Finder and observer of neutron star binary coalescence
1997A new concept for a space-based, interferometric gravitational wave detector is envisaged called FINEST targeted at observing medium-frequency gravitational waves (10-1 to 103 Hz). Established technologies that have been developed for ground-based detectors along with those being developed for space-based detectors are utilised.
