Diagnostic Performance of the AlzoSure Predict Assay and Its Association With Alzheimer's Disease Biomarkers and Imaging Findings

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease (AD) is critical for improving patient outcomes. The laboratory‐developed blood test of AlzoSure measures the unfolded conformational variant of p53 (U‐p53AZ) in plasma and has shown promise as a screening tool for AD risk.

Liquid Crystal Elastomers Filaments for Adaptive Textiles and Soft Robotics: A Processing‐Centric Review

open access: yesMacromolecular Rapid Communications, Volume 47, Issue 15, 4 August 2026.
Liquid crystal elastomer (LCE) filaments are fabricated through extrusion with in‐process UV curing, enabling controlled flow alignment and network locking of mesogens. The resulting structure responds to thermal or optical stimuli, inducing molecular reorientation and macroscopic contraction.

A PLP‐SEC Investigation of Di(Ethylene Glycol) Methyl Ether Methacrylate Radical Polymerization Propagation Kinetics in Solution

open access: yesMacromolecular Reaction Engineering, Volume 20, Issue 4, August 2026.
The propagation rate coefficient of di(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate exhibits the same temperature dependency but is a factor of 12 higher in aqueous solution compared to bulk. Smaller increases are observed in ethanol and ethanol/water mixtures, with the value of the rate coefficient decreasing as the monomer concentration in solution is ...
