AbstractThe few layer transition metal dichalcogenides are two dimensional materials that have an intrinsic gap of the order of ≈2 eV. The reduced screening in two dimensions implies a rich excitonic physics and, as a consequence, many potential applications in the field of opto-electronics.

Interlayer coherence in superconductor bilayers
We investigate the possibility and implications of interlayer coherence in electrically isolated superconducting bilayers. We find that in a mean-field approximation bilayers can have superconducting and excitonic order simultaneously if repulsive interactions between layers are sufficiently strong.

Additive Manufacturing of Alumina‐Reinforced Elastomers
Vat‐photopolymerized elastomers reinforced with platelet‐shaped alumina exhibited preferential orientation, reduced porosity, and significantly enhanced mechanical performance. A 3 wt% platelet loading increased tensile strength from 12.4 to 45.7 MPa, highlighting the critical role of filler morphology in elastomeric VPP composites.
