Influence of Si-O-C Interlayer on Mechanical Properties and Thermal Expansion Properties of C/SiC-N Composites

open access: yesCailiao gongcheng, 2018
The carbon fiber reinforced Si-C-N ceramic matrix composites with a Si-O-C interlayer(C/Si-O-C/Si-C-N) was fabricated with the matrix fabricated by CVI and the interphase fabricated by PIP.

Interlayer coherence in superconductor bilayers

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 2022
We investigate the possibility and implications of interlayer coherence in electrically isolated superconducting bilayers. We find that in a mean-field approximation bilayers can have superconducting and excitonic order simultaneously if repulsive interactions between layers are sufficiently strong.

Structural Glass Beams with Embedded Glass Fibre Reinforcement

open access: yesChallenging Glass Conference Proceedings, 2010
This paper investigates the possibilities of pultruded glass fibre rods as embedded reinforcement in SentryGlas (SG) laminated glass beams. To do so, a series of pullout tests, to investigate the bond strength of the rods to the laminate, and a series of

The Presence of the Biochar Interlayer Effectively Inhibits Soil Water Evaporation and Salt Migration to the Soil Surface

open access: yesAgriculture, 2023
To reveal the mechanisms of water conservation and soil salinity control in the biochar interlayer, the effects of biochar addition as an interlayer on soil water infiltration, evaporation, and salt transport were studied.

Interlayer Exciton Diode and Transistor

open access: yesNano Letters, 2022
Controlling the flow of charge neutral interlayer exciton (IX) quasiparticles can potentially lead to low loss excitonic circuits. Here, we report unidirectional transport of IXs along nanoscale electrostatically defined channels in an MoSe$_2$-WSe$_2$ heterostructure.

Reversible Interlayer Sliding and Conductivity Changes in Adaptive Tetrathiafulvalene-Based Covalent Organic Frameworks. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Ordered interlayer stacking is intrinsic in two-dimensional covalent organic frameworks (2D COFs) and has strong implications on COF's optoelectronic properties.

Development and Investigation of Hierarchically Structured Thin-Film Nanocomposite Membranes from Polyamide/Chitosan Succinate Embedded with a Metal-Organic Framework (Fe-BTC) for Pervaporation

open access: yesMembranes, 2022
Thin-film composite membranes (TFC) obtained by the formation of a selective layer on a porous membrane-substrate via interfacial polymerization (IP) are indispensable for separation procedures in reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, pervaporation, and gas ...

Mechanical Behaviors and Fatigue Performances of Ballastless Tracks Laid on Long-Span Cable-Stayed Bridges with Different Arrangements

open access: yesSensors, 2019
In this paper, we present a new attempt to lay ballastless tracks on long-span cable-stayed bridges on high-speed railways. The arrangements of ballastless tracks laid on cable-stayed bridges can be divided into two conditions: (i) across the cable ...

Indications of coherence-incoherence crossover in layered transport [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
For many layered metals the temperature dependence of the interlayer resistance has a different behavior than the intralayer resistance. In order to better understand interlayer transport we consider a concrete model which exhibits this behavior. A small
