Block copolymer microstructures in the intermediate-segregation regime
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1997A detailed examination of the intermediate-segregation regime of diblock copolymer melts is presented using the incompressible Gaussian chain model and self-consistent field theory (SCFT). We find that the competition between interfacial tension and chain stretching used to describe behavior in the strong-segregation regime also explains behavior in ...

EPR investigation of the intermediate spin exchange regime
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1984The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of di-tert butylnitroxide (DTBN) are studied as a function of the nitroxide concentration in three hydrocarbon solvents at constant temperature. In the concentration range studied, DTBN undergoes electron spin exchange which leads to broadening, shifting, and eventual collapse of the lines forming the 19-line

A calculation of the flow resistivity in intermediate flow regime
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1999Many of the acoustic properties of fibrous materials can be modeled and predicted with the aid of appropriate empirical formulas. Among the input parameters that are required by such types of macroscopic models, the flow resistivity is a very well-established quantity in the literature, as usually this parameter is measured in steady Poiseuille flow ...

Vibronic Excitons in the Intermediate Coupling Regime
1983Electronic excitations of a linear molecular crystal are investigated. The theory applies to arbitrary coupling of the exciton to molecular vibrations as well as arbitrary strength of the exciton transfer. As an example the spectrum of a J aggregate, the dye 1,1′-diethyl-NN ′-i socyani rich!orid (PIC), is discussed.

The Evolution of Thought on Intermediate Exchange Rate Regimes
The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, 2002This article traces the origins and evolution of proposals for exchange-rate regimes intermediate between fixed and floating rates. The origins are traced to Keynes's interwar writings. Keynes's ideas were revived in the 1960s literature on the (wide) band proposal and crawling peg and developed in the 1970s by the literatures on the reference rate ...

Introduction: From ‘Intermediate Regime’ to Crony Capitalism
2018Introduction This volume brings a selection of papers which were presented at a conference on “Political Economy of Contemporary India” at Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai (IGIDR) in November 2014. The conference was organised by the desire to re-focus academic attention on issues which have enormous ...

Financial Intermediation and Regime Switching in Business Cycles.
American Economic Review, 1998The authors study a one-sector growth model where capital investment is credit financed and there is an adverse selection problem in credit markets. The presence of adverse selection creates an indeterminacy of equilibrium. Many equilibria display permanent fluctuations characterized by transitions between Walrasian regimes and regimes of credit ...
