Grazing incidence X‐ray absorption spectroscopy is performed in order to investigate the formation of NiAl intermetallic compounds in layered Ni–Al‐thin film systems. In situ measurements during the annealing of Ni–Al bi‐ and trilayers demonstrate the change in depth composition of the layered system at different temperatures.

Structural and Electrical Characterization of Solution‐Deposited β‐Ga2O3:Al
Aluminum‐doped beta gallium oxide is structurally and electrically characterized for electronic applications by making electrode contacts of four‐metal‐stack layers using electron beam evaporator with the intent of making an ideal diode. Metal contacts are analyzed by I–V and C–V analyzer to get the ideality factor of the doped oxide.

Ab Initio Electronic and Thermoelectric Calculations of Atomically Thick Nanofilms
1‐Quintuple layers of Sb2Te3, Bi2Se3, BiSbSe3, and BiSbTe3 are explored for electronic and thermoelectric properties. All the monolayers show Mexican hat dispersion with small anisotropy in the valence bands. The phonon dispersions confirm dynamic stability of the monolayers.
