Bonding Features and Magnetic Ordering in Thiolate‐Bridged Copper‐Nickel Clusters Synthesized at Elevated Temperature

Two thiolate‐decorated bimtallic Cu─Ni clusters formed under solvothermal synthesis conditions. [Cu2Ni6S3(MCP)6] (MPCH = 2‐mercaptopyridine; MCP = deprotonated 2‐mercaptopyridine) features a bicapped trigonal prismatic {Cu2Ni6} core, while [Cu2Ni6(MCP)12I2] possesses a hexagonal bipyramidal {Cu2Ni6} core.

Bi‐Continuous W‐Rich Refractory High Entropy Alloy‐Cu Composite: Toward Material Innovation of Nuclear Reactor Coolant System

This study focuses on developing a composite of the refractory high entropy alloy WTaVTi with Cu, using a liquid metal dealloying process. The resulting composite features highly thermally conductive Cu channels embedded between ligaments of RHEA, which exhibits excellent irradiation resistance.
