The Investigation of Physical and Mechanical Properties of Oriented Strand Board (OSB) Production Using Corn Stalks Residues [PDF]
: The application of corn stalks in the production of oriented strand board (OSB) is investigated. Corn stalks strands were produced in three sizes of 50, 75 and 100 millimeters length and dried to reach 2% moisture content.

A New Phenomenon: Sub-Tg, Solid-State, Plasticity-Induced Bonding in Polymers
Polymer self-adhesion due to the interdiffusion of macromolecules has been an active area of research for several decades [70, 43, 62, 42, 72, 73, 41]. Here, we report a new phenomenon of sub-Tg, solid-state, plasticity-induced bonding; where amorphous ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Study on the repair parameters for trailing‐edge bonding failure of wind turbine blade in service
A numerical analysis method of trailing edge deboning is proposed in this paper. Using this method, multiple repair parameters can be quantified by analyzing aerodynamic responses and structural characteristics of the trailing edge.

Like ordinary molecules are composed of atoms, colloidal molecules consist of several species of colloidal particles tightly bound together. If one of these components is self-propelled or swimming, novel "active colloidal molecules" emerge.

Self-Replicating Strands that Self-Assemble into User-Specified Meshes [PDF]
It has been argued that a central objective of nanotechnology is to make products inexpensively, and that self-replication is an effective approach to very low-cost manufacturing.

Spread Overreaction in International Bond Markets [PDF]
This paper applies the Campbell-Shiller (1987) methodology to a study of the joint behaviour of a three-month and a five-year government yield in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany and Japan. The period studied is for most countries the mid-1970s to the third quarter of 1997.

Intein‐based modular chimeric antigen receptor platform for specific CD19/CD20 co‐targeting
CARtein is a modular CAR platform that uses split inteins to splice antigen‐recognition modules onto a universal signaling backbone, enabling precise, scarless assembly without re‐engineering signaling domains. Deployed here against CD19 and CD20 in B‐cell malignancies, the design supports flexible multi‐antigen targeting to boost T‐cell activation and
