Checking Internal Consistency of SOFL Specification: A Hybrid Approach
Lecture Notes in Computer Science, 2014A SOFL specification can be written with errors inside, leading to an untrustable situation for implementation. Some techniques, such as specification review and testing, have been proposed to detect and remove the errors from the specification as early as possible. Meanwhile these techniques face strong challenges when applied to practice in that they

Totally self-checking checkers with separate internal fault indication
IEEE Transactions on Computers, 1988The design of a novel class of totally self-checking (TSC) checkers with two separate output indications E/sub N/ and F/sub N/ is described. F/sub N/ is independent of input errors and indicates internal faults only. On the other hand, the output E/sub N/ indicates input errors as well as a small number of internal faults.

Internal Checking During Eucalypt Processing
2010Collapse is a severe type of shrinkage that occurs to some extent in most species and timber types, but is particularly prevalent amongst certain species. The low to medium density Eucalypt species are particularly prone (Chafe et al. 1992). Collapse is “abnormal” in that it occurs in saturated timber above the Fibre Saturation Point (FSP) when the ...
