Wavelet Analysis of Cycle-to-Cycle Pressure Variations in an Internal Combustion Engine [PDF]
Using a continuous wavelet transform we have analyzed the cycle-to-cycle variations of pressure in an internal combustion engine. The time series of maximum pressure variations are examined for different loading and their wavelet power spectrum is calculated for each load.

The Effect Of Compression Ratio By Different Piston Head Shape On The Performance Of Motorcycle Engine [PDF]
The compression ratio has a significant impact on engine power, fuel economy, emission, and other performances of internal combustion engines. Basic engine theory states that a higher compression ratio produces higher torque and horsepower.

Abstract A possibility to carry out sorption‐enhanced gasification (SEG) is represented by its integration with the calcium looping concept in dual interconnected fluidized beds (DIFB). This article is focused on the sorbent CO2 uptake performance and attrition/fragmentation tendency when operating conditions simulating those of a DIFB‐SEG process are ...

Electrified methane steam reforming on a washcoated SiSiC foam for low‐carbon hydrogen production
Abstract In view of largely available renewable electricity as a green future resource, here we report the electrification of a Rh/Al2O3 washcoated SiSiC foam for methane steam reforming (MSR). We show that, thanks to the suitable bulk resistivity of the SiSiC foam, its direct Joule heating up to relevant temperatures is feasible; the interconnected ...
